Will this work on my Sea-Doo Switch?
Yes! The SwitchBlade mount fits every Sea-Doo Switch model — Switch, Sport, Sport Compact, Cruise, and Fish — with standard 2.15" x 1.6" front gate posts, across all model years (2022 to present). One note: Switch Fish models ship from the factory with a pre-installed Garmin trolling motor, so it's not required there — but it works the same way if you want to run a different motor.
Do I need to drill holes in my boat?
Absolutely not! All our products use 100% bolt-on installation. No drilling, no permanent modifications. You can install and remove everything without damaging your Switch.
I've never installed boat accessories before. Can I do this myself?
Yes! Our mounts are designed for first-time boat owners. If you can use a wrench, you can install our products. Each order includes a detailed installation manual with photos, and we're always available by phone or email if you need help.
Which trolling motors are compatible?
We're compatible with all major brands: Minn Kota (Terrova, Powerdrive, Terrova Quest), Garmin Force (including Kraken), Motor Guide (Xi3, Xi5), and Haswing. Your motor just needs a compatible quick-release bracket — find your exact bracket part number on our SwitchBlade Compatibility Matrix.
What's the maximum trolling motor size the SwitchBlade supports?
The SwitchBlade is rated for trolling motors up to 80 lbs of thrust. A couple of high-output motors, including the Garmin Force Kraken and Minn Kota Terrova Quest, land right at or slightly above that limit depending on configuration — see our Trolling Motor Buyer's Guide for the full breakdown before choosing a motor that size.
Can I stow the motor when trailering or docked?
Yes. The SwitchBlade rotates 90 degrees so you can swing the motor across the front deck when trailering or done fishing for the day, without blocking access to your anchor box.
How long does shipping take?
Because each mount is precision CNC-machined to order here in the USA, shipping takes up to 10 business days. We know you're excited to get fishing—we'll get it to you as fast as possible while maintaining our quality standards.
