The SwitchBlade fits every Sea-Doo Switch — every trim, every length, every model year, 2022 to present. That's because it clamps to the gate post, a mounting point shared across the whole Switch platform, not the rear rail. (Products that attach to the rear rail instead — like our Downrigger Mount — do have real model-year-specific fitment. See that product's page for details.) What varies here is the quick-release bracket — a small adapter that connects your specific trolling motor to the mount. Sea-Doo Switch Boat Models
Length and model year don't affect SwitchBlade fit — the gate post is identical across every Switch trim and every year. Those two variables only matter for rail-mounted accessories like the Downrigger Mount.
🎣 A Note for Switch Fish Owners
The SwitchBlade is fully compatible with the Switch Fish — but Fish owners won't need one. The Switch Fish ships from the factory with a Garmin trolling motor already integrated into the bow rail. If you want to run a different motor than the factory setup, the SwitchBlade mounts and works exactly the same way it does on every other Switch model.
🔹 Quick-Release Bracket Required — Sold Separately
A motor-specific quick-release bracket is required to install your trolling motor onto the SwitchBlade mount. This bracket is not included with your SwitchBlade purchase and must be ordered from your motor's manufacturer or an authorized reseller. Does the SwitchBlade fit a Minn Kota Terrova?
Yes. The Terrova uses quick-release bracket MKA-16-03 (slide-on) or MKA-21 / RTA-17 (drop-on, pin-secured), depending on your motor's configuration.
What bracket do I need for a Minn Kota Terrova Quest?
The Terrova Quest requires bracket MKA-56, specific to the Quest series.
What bracket do I need for a Garmin Force Kraken?
Bracket 010-12832-60 — for the 24V configuration only. Use with caution: avoid abrupt acceleration or sharp direction changes, and don't use auto deploy/stow. The 36V Kraken is not recommended.
What bracket fits a Motor Guide Xi3 or Xi5?
Both use bracket 8M0120717. Confirm your motor's thrust rating is within the SwitchBlade's 80 lb limit.
What bracket do I need for a Haswing Cayman?
Bracket 59929 or 59927, depending on your motor's configuration. Verify the correct one with Haswing before ordering, or contact us for help.
