This bracket gives you the attachment point — you'll pair it with a RAM Mounts Tough-Claw shaft stabilizer arm to complete your setup. Both kits use RAM's "medium" double socket arm length; the difference between them is clamp size, not arm length. Select based on your motor's shaft diameter:

No. This bracket is compatible with RAM Mounts Tough-Claw shaft stabilizer kits (RAP-400-202U for most motors, RAP-404-202U for Garmin Kraken and Terrova Quest) which must be purchased separately — see the links above.

Do I need the SwitchBlade mount to use this?
No. While it's most commonly paired with the SwitchBlade for a trolling motor shaft stabilizer setup, the bracket bolts directly to your Switch on its own.

Does installation require drilling?
